This property was part of the redevelopment of the old Trochee Hotel site.
The main 1860s building was maintained and totally refurbished to provide a large six bedroom family home. Only the existing external walls were kept.
An 1890s ballroom extension was demolished and this new ‘period look’ four bedroom house was built in its place. Period details have been replicated and salvaged bricks reused.
The energy efficiency of the building is excellent – it exceeds current standards. Both builds utilised air source heat pumps as a green heat source.
Our clients appointed a separate garden designer to provide that added flair and both houses were sold very quickly.
