We have been fortunate to get involved in this fantastic project to convert a property back from four individual flats into a substantial single residential dwelling.
The house has been brought back to its former glory, with many period features reinstated, including fireplaces, cornices and even decorative clay roof tiles that match the original design.
The London stock brickwork was gently cleaned and re-pointed. Decorative red brick arches were overhauled or replaced.
Current standards of energy efficiency have been achieved by adding insulation to external walls and by fitting new period-style double glazed windows and external doors that are made from shop-finished engineered timber.
Inside, the finish is to a very high standard. We installed a hand-made kitchen, marble and limestone tiling and oak herringbone parquet flooring.
We also fitted high tech systems including a sonos audio system throughout the house and a dedicated cinema room.
